Daniel is in recovery now and should be back in his room in the Intermediate Intensive Care Unit soon. Aubrey and Mendy have not yet had an opportunity to talk with the surgeon directly, but the nurse said the surgeon is pleased with how things went and that the stint was placed successfully.
There should be a more detailed report from the surgeon and we will post that as soon as Aubrey and Mendy have been updated.

Aubrey and Mendy - I have known Aubrey and Mendy for a long time. I knew Aubrey back in Tennessee when we all joined the church back in the 60s and 70s. I have known Aubrey since he was a teenager when he would visit my son, Curtis, after his family moved away in the summers. Aubrey and Curtis could get along for about 4 days and then it would be Aubrey and me. I have loved these guys - Aubrey, Bill, Karen and Norma for a long time and they are very special to me. I am a good friend to Betty, Aubrey, Bill and Karen's aunt. Betty is the one that told me about Daniel. I do not know Daniel and have probably met him once but I want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you in this period of suffering every day and am thankful that we have Blogs - who would have thought - that we can keep posted each day of what is going on. Thank you Bill. When I first moved toSalt Lake City in 1981 Bill and Aubrey met me at the airport and Aubrey took me to find my apartment and helped me sell some of my things in Tennessee before I moved. I feel they are part of my family. We all have miracle stories to tell and know who to put our trust in. When we trust in the Lord everything always works out the way it is suppose to. I have prayed for Daniel and feel comfortedthat everything is going to be fine. Time heals all wounds as the saying goes but it is also true. This blog is so nice, then we don't have to bother you with phone calls - just know there are a lot of prayers offered in all of your behalves.

Daniel, Aubrey and Mendy...It is 11:10 p.m. I've watched the blog and am aware Daniel is out of surgery and placing the stent went well. It must have been a long day for all of you. I look forward to more information. I am better so i can help be with Daniel as you need me...I can't seem to get anything done as I wait, but I have rested and healed and I wish the same for you. Call and tell me your wishes. You are ever in my prayers. Love mother and G-MA
